Hello all interested poets!
The following information is an invitation to join Weaver of Words 9, the format and number of poems has changed a bit. This new book will be a reflection of the poetry group as it exists in 2011. Chapter by poet will be replaced by 5 parts, or group interests. I am asking for a total of 5, one-page poems that fit in these chapter categories. Please mark poetry by category: 1. Poetry from our monthly meetings. 2. Poetry from one of our Open Mic events. 3. The workshop writing assignment, Used to...Now..., a comparsion poem. 4. Art Center poetry, theme poetry. 5. Weaver's choice, poet's original or previously published in the Weaver's Series poetry. **
We will have an opening poem, by Ida Graziano and a closing poem, by JoEllen Gantner, and also hoping for a group photo, and will announce photo shoot at a later time.
**If you don't have a poem for each category, please double up in another category, such as, if you don't have an Art Center poem, then just add a poem to monthly meeting poetry or any other category, let me know when you turn in your poetry.

In a collection like this it is best to use one page poetry, font 12.
I woul like to have all the poetry collected by July 31, 2011.
